a blue A3 Cabrio cruising down Hwy 192 in Orlando, FL this morning... trying to be all under-cover with no badging or chrome rings, etc. Luckily, I caught a few shots with my cell phone which I'll try to upload. Anyone else seen one around??? | | | | | The Following 7 Users Say Thank You to ReaganLogan For This Useful Post: | | | Moderator

IMO the A3 cabrio just doesn't work, when the roof is up, the car appear to look like a giant box because the shape of the car ends so suddenly. The car looks better roof down, but the A3 is just too short to be converted into a Cabrio. The VW Eos does a much better job. Those who buy this car are probably badge snobs, the Eos looks far better.
Audi is falling into the same trap BMW was in a few years ago. All their cars are beginning to look the same. now this A3 Cabrio shares the same rear tail light as the A4 and the A5 | | | | | Expert

I like what I see, the rear and front are sexy. Hopefully it doesn't look awkward or misproportioned. | | | | | Member

This car is better looking than the new BMW 1 Series coupe but will look dated sooner. I feel they need to upgrade the looks more. This A3 shape has been out for a while now, the last shape change only involved changing the grill. This A3 cabrio shape just seems to be a change of the rear headlights and a more agressive front but more or less the same car I want more. Surely a bit late in the life cycle to bring out an A3 Cabrio of current shape A3. Also will it have the same performance and economy as the beemer 123d? I'm really hoping that the new 2.0TDI 204/9 PS from Audi is put into this car. I want to a new car next year, currently have an A3 so will be A3 Cabrio top of the range diesel or BMW123d but I can't believe I'm actually saying this I am now leaning towards the BMW. Audi please please please come up with the goods and give us a good car. Which one would you buy? | | | | | Contributor

This friday Audi will hold a press conference in Györ, Hungary which will see the unveiling of the new Audi A3 Cabriolet. No further details have been released yet but we are not expected any major surprises from another addition to the Audi line up. The styling of the front end looks very much like the current generation A3, but the rear end styling appears to be based on the A5.
Production had been rumoured to commence in Brussels, Belgium, but judging by the location of the unveiling, it looks likely it will be built at their Hungary production facility.
We had expected the A3 Cabrio to debut in Geneva so this premature unveiling comes somewhat as a surprise. Audi A3 Cabrio to be Unveiled on Friday
I'm surprised you Audi guys hadn't seen this. Audi is bursting at the seams with new product.
