I'm keen. The front bumper with the foglight-scooped brake vents looks bad, IMO. This looks good.
As for cost, well, Audi already seems to have set their RS standards vs. the competition with the RS4 - more than the M3. However, this thing will be going up against the 130i, mainly, IMO. I doubt they'd make a bespoke engine for this car.. though admittedly that's just pure speculation on my part.
Audi RS cars are halo cars: that designation gives it Porsche level panache. An RS3 costing Cayman money and giving around 350 hp for Porsche 911 performance is great value.
I saw that picture last week but didn't bother posting it since I was unsure if it really is a Audi RS3 test mule. I wouldn't be suprised if the car will be using the 3.6L engine stressed to its maximum point and they might even decide to increase the displacement with 0.1 or 0.2L. The four door version will be hot as hell.
im sceptical about the info too, but if there is a RS3 it will have the same engine as the RS-TT and priced just a bit less than a RS-TT id imagine because of its less sporty roots.
Hmmm, Iceman, you may be right, but the article states that this car is disguised as the racer but is testing the RS3 running gear. We will find out soon enough...
