Audi will launch the sports version of the A3 at the end of this year. It will be equipped with a 2.0 TFSI engine, which is said to deliver 272 HP. The new S3 has all wheel drive. The photos are showing a prototype without any disguise in current cold weather testing. Note S3 nameplate on steering wheel.

If this was out in the US right now it would most likely be what I'd buy as my car. If this or an R36 was out I'd jump right on it. Too bad they're way too late.

Hey man Just_me, what's dull about the yellow S3? Please clarify, is it the colour or don't you find the look all that appealing? I personally think it looks perfect for an S3 - not too overdone with just the right amount of phat. Q-car essential.

Yes you can and it will use haldex.

Also don't expect to see those rims in production S3. Those are common rims already found in A3.

Of course the rims won't be like that, neither the mirrors. Those cars that are testes are far away from the final look.

But I like the overall look. That's what I really like about the Audis S-models. They are fast and special, and the design is "not to much - not to little". I love the whole skirt package and the front grille and bumper. Like the overall "sleeper" look! Can't wait for this car to come!

And I was in my lcoal Audi dealer and they said that it will have 272 hp! Sounds better than those rumoured 260hp, and more logical to!
