The Focus RS had only 200 hp or something but it was faster than CL55 AMG on the track. Same with Mitsubishi EVO which was faster than M5 when tested in a track from a Greek magazine.
Power is nothing without control.

sure they are faster.. they are smaller..

but i dont belive that 15hp is enough to justify the price diffrence from a 3.2..
and knowing audi the price diffrence will be hefty..

weight is the key. Just how like the new type-r will still have the same engine, yet some guy off another forum which has driven one says its much much better and faster.

I think they have tried to disguise the car as those alloys are off the 3.2

well if you look at the A4 pricing a 2.0t is 28K, 3.2 is 35K, S4 is 46K, and RS4 is 66K.
So this S3 if that is what this is, will probably be around 40K being that the 3.2 is like 32K

i think the wheels should be an inch bigger (18")?

but don't forget the feeling of driving and that 2.0T must be lighter than 3.2 V6!!!

Inside info: Thanks to a tip I got, I learned that Audi is going to unveil its long awaited sport version of the A3 in the middle of the week. The S3 quattro will be equipped with VW Group's most powerful version of its 2.0 TFSI engine up to date, producing an impressive 260 Hp. 0 to 100 km/h (62 mp/h) is estimated to be about 5,7 sec while top speed will be (as usual) electronicaly limited at 250 km/h (155 mp/h). Power will be driven to all wheels either through a 6speed manual or through VW Group's renowned 6speed double clutch semi-auto gearbox. The car will be officialy unveiled at the Paris motor Show in September while sales will start in Europe in December and at the US in early 2007.
