I made the same mistake. One of the car blogs posted it up about 2 days ago which led me to belive it was fresh off the stand news.

I'm positively dying to see this new S3. I think I'm going to want one.

I think the hot hatch market is going to become very popular in the US. With gas prices getting higher and SUV sale's on the decline, it only makes sense. I've heard rumors of Ford considering to bring the new Focus to the US. I think that the A3 3 door could be a huge hit, it's so much better than MB's C class coupe catastrophe of a car. If I was in the market for a car, I would certainly consider the A3 (3 door), if only it was on sale!! Anyways, I'm excited about this new S3 and look forward to the RS3, whenever that things finally comes out.

Last most of us heard the RS3 thing isn't happening.

I realised it was an old article only a few minutes after posting it since it says that the "S3 will arrive in 2005".

I have never liked the A3 since it doens't look as good as the A3 sportback.
