I've been going back and forth between the Evo and STi lately but it will most likely be the STi at the moment. I don't care much for the interior in either car and will miss my TT interior (one of the best interiors in the world IMO from an aesthetic standpoint).

Hmph, very interesting, if true about that 272 hp. That's 200 kW in metric terms and represents a 36% increase in power over the 147 kW TFSI 2.0 litre.
Let's say we apply the same increase percentage in torque (as a very very broad rule); 280 Nm plus 36% = 380 Nm...

Now 380 Nm sounds a bit much but I'll be blooming surprised if torque is less than 365 Nm.

This S3 is looking promising, really promising! I want one - always have.

Too right on that TT interior opinion Carbon, quite simply one of the best interior designs ever seen in a car. Oh and did I say far more special that anything seen in a Lamborghini in a car far far less expensive? How will Audi ever live up to that interior again. An all time classic achievement in my humble opinion.

Actually Carbon even if you went to a Cayman or a Z4 I'd reckon you'd miss the flair, execution and quality of that TT interior. So, you might as well give up on any interior from a Japanese car making the grade in your eyes.
What's the urgency with trading in? Why not wait a while?

Maybe this S3 will be just the perfect replacement for that TT of yours...

I have never like yellow cars. Seeing a yellow ferrari makes my cry like a little girl. Its an ugly colour and the yellow S3 on those pics isnt making i better, at least make it yellow metallic so it "sparkles" more, now it just looks dull.

in sweden yellow rhyme with the word ugly "gult=fult"

A-ha. Got you. Yeah, couldn't agree with you more on the yellow car thing. Can't stand the colour on a car personally though the S3 is one of the few cars to look moderately ok in yellow.

Again, I'm just astonished at the quality and detail of Lehmanns latest spy shots. I think I understand now:

I personally think the yellow color is perfect for the S/RS cars! The S3 looks very sweet in yellow!

What you are seeing is the actual final S3 production version sans chrome mirrors and exhaust.

But I'm confused about the use of a high power 2.OT bi-turbo engine that has become all but the standard rumor.

From what I heard, the S3 will come with a naturally aspiring 3.6 liter V6 rated at around 300 hp.

The new S3 will have a 2.0 litre FSI K04 turbo engine with 191 kW/ 260 hp.
The new TTS will have a 3.6 litre VR6 FSI with ± 330 hp.

My Audi dealer said that the 260hp was pure BS. 272hp is the new number.

okay...how about this...for now onwards we wait for the S3 to come out and the figure out is right
