Audiholic: remember the Audi S3?
me: what do you think. Noone should forget this car. It was one great Audi. Very beautiful car for its time. Still looks good. It also sold well. IMO it is one of the most important cars in AUDI history..

I definitely agree that it's the great looking car, still looks good, was selling well, but to say that it's one of the most important cars in Audi's history.... Hmmm, wouldn't agree with that... Let's see how real Audi Freaks (Yannis & Audiholic) will reply on this one.

i deffinitely think it's an important car. It sold much. It was the first Audi into the small (family) cars segment. It also looked good and was a new part in Audi history.

Sure, but we were talking about the S3 here, not regular A3 series...
And imo, if i'm not mistaken, it was the A4 and A6 who brought all the money/profit to Audi AG, not the A3.

Well, i din't notice that it was the S3 and not the A3...
Actually, i see more A3s than A4s and i think that A3 brought the Audi brand in more houses.

No probs! That's the case in greece maybe, but here in Croatia, the roads are full of A4s.... And 3ers of course...
