I agree Raoul. I'm terribly sick of seeing the same rear-end virtually copied onto multiple other models. What's more, I reckon the rear-end is just too short.

Re: Official: Audi A3 Cabriolet Unveiled

Are those CELIS LED rear lights standard, or optional (only in combination with xenon headlights & LED DRL)?

Since we have seen spy pics with regular non-CELIS rear lights ....

Agreed! Taken as a whole, it looks quite odd.

Are you sure they are made by Hella?

100% Agree with both of you. The car is just not long enough to be a nice cabriolet. Those tail lights should have been on the A5, I don't know why Audi chose not to fit them on the A5 1st.

Those LED headlights just doesn't work on the A3. The entire headlight design reminds me of the game tetris where you have to fit all the different shapes together and form a rectangle. It just doesn't look as well integrated as those on the R8 and the A5.

I just don't like this car, the VW Eos is much better.

The poverty pack A3 Cabriolet with normal non Xenon, non LED lights.

Re: Official: Audi A3 Cabriolet Unveiled

I was seriously hoping that the shape would be more leveled like the Cross Cabriolet.

Re: Official: Audi A3 Cabriolet Unveiled

The front looks nice, but the side and back need some getting used to I think (for me at least)

Let me get back to this in a week, when these images have settled in my mind! That's better than saying something not so nice about this car, when I don't even mean it.

Re: Official: A3 Cabrio unvield

I'm looking at this little car and I'm thinking to myself that this is what VW should have built as a Golf Cabriolet ...rather than the EOS.

It could so easily be the great grandchild of the original Golf Cabrio.

This Audi actually has some real charm about it, unlike the VW EOS.
