Speaking of which, I WAS going to put down a deposit to order a Turbo, but had a few issues with the Nav, Trip etc.
This revision has not only dealt with almost ever single nitpick I had (OEM iPod integration for one) but the performance increase that brings it so close to the current turbo at a substantially lower cost did it for me.
To me that is a very big premium for an increase in performance I would rarely use. The one gripe I had, and told my dealer this is that I could understand putting the PDK switches on the steering wheel for previous owners who are familiar with that location, but after reading all the reviews and my own personal preference it is beyond my WHY NOT OFFER PADDLES AS AN OPTION?
I can pick the colors of my seat belts, style and sportyness of the manual shift etc, but I can't even order paddles for shifting as an OPTION?
c'mon Porsche - I know I am far from alone. Hopefully an aftermarket shop will offer this option or Porsche will come to their senses and give owners what they want -
and smile when we happily pay extra to get it EXACTLY the way we want it.
