The GT3 and the GT2 have different approaches. The GT3 is a 911 with light materials, stiffer suspension(nothing for bumpa roads) and less gound clearence, in order word this is a track car like a M3 CSL. The GT2 is more like the ultimate 911 for people who want a 911 with maximum power.

Price is probably gonna be thru the roof, bt those who buy this car surely can afford it.

Just like the 996 GT3 the new one will cost roughly 100-120k. Which isn't that a bad price at all.

The GT2 and GT3 are both track cars and that's about it. Yes, the GT3 is lighter, and always will be, but that's because it doesn't have two turbos and all the piping that requires. The Turbo is for people who want a 911 with just a lot of power. It's easy to control with PSM and AWD. The GT2 and GT3 are a whole different breed of 911. They are unforgiving and just plane scary.

I want a 996 GT2 very very bad.. i could get it for the price of a new S.. but..
I live in god damned sweden..that means GT2 4 months and bus 8 .. haha and that doesent work..

Oh so you can get one that cheap? My friends dad has one and the sound of that thing is sweet. People allways stared when the Porsche rolled up at school to pick him up.
