Summary of the Porsche 911 GT2 (2007)

Price Range: - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

Assets

The most astounding blend of speed and civility ever offered in a production road car.

Drawbacks

For all its pace, lacks a certain sense of occasion.

Verdict

Deeply impressive road weapon, but not Porsche's ultimate driving machine.

Well, in the eyes of many journalists the GT3 has taken over that particular spot. As Chris Harris from AutoCar described, unlike the GT3 which you ease and harmonize and work into corners, the GT2 requires a softer foot; you don't dare tramp that pedal until you're in a straight line. Overall, the GT3 is more involving and less point to point.

Still, as far as I'm concerned the GT2 is Porsche's ultimate driving machine.

This is a Porsche, who hasn't seen dramatic design changes for many years; either you like it or hate it. I know your take on it.

Ferrari, imo, looks like the big pile of shit compared to GT2.

I guess they aren't willing to change something that has been successful for decades.
