The M3 is a very good sports car, offers some nice space and doesn't have a too crazy price tag. The 911TT on the other hand has been the benchmark for high performance sports car and when realeased has allways killed all cars on the road(except the super cars off course). The M3 simply doesn't measure up to the 911 in terms of power, handling, precision or image. It's not even a close battle between the two. The M3 is only race rule when it comes to cars cheaper than 100k but other than that it can't satisfy people the way a 911TT does. Although BMW could have shaped the Z4 M coupe into a potential 911 competitor. |

W/ the advanced 4WD system(100 percent of torque can be sent to one wheel if there is forward rotation in such a case as loss of traction), specialized engine management system specifically designed around the turbo/s, this car is way ahead of whatever the E92 may offer. Just the same I'm sure the E92 WON'T get it's nose bloodied up against a 997TT, it will just seem a tad more "tame" than it's Stuttgart cousin. |

While testing the car in north of Sweden it has been reported that the car has amazing grip although it wasn't tested with proper winter tyres. Sounds like a good car to be. ![]() |
