theyre both SUV's right?

Well the X5 cant do what SUV's are meant to do, whilst the xc90 can. Therefore the new X5 is basically a 5er on stilts thats less economical in everyway, isnt as fun to drive, but has got 7 seats and that wanker image.

So yes as a SUV the xc90 is much better. As a car the X5 is better.
