Volvo C30 is hot!! - 08-23-2006, 07:30 PM

Today when I arrived at work yesterday I was lucky to see the new Volvo C30 with no camo at all. More over this wasn't an ordinary C30 but a T5 with sports package, painted bumper and no black cladding.
After looking at the press photos on the internet I had already made up my opinion on the car but when I saw it in real life I was totally stunned. The car looks to much better in real life and doesn't look as goofy and weird as it does in pictures.

The main attraction is off course the rear its cute little window and looking through the rear window is like standing up in the middle, inside an aeroplane. Straight down you see seat rows on either sides. With the C30 the view was really cool, just like looking thorugh a door window to a Cathedral and watching MC Hammer dancing at the far end.
The most distinctive thing about the car is that it can'tbe classified as a hatch back. It really doesn't look like a two door 1er, golf or A3. This car is in reality longer then it appears to be on photos and the roof is quite low too. It has very sporty proportions. Volvo have made something totally new, it is like a cross over between a coupe and a hatchback......it's.......it's a coupeback!!.

Here you have the Aston Martin Bertone which has very similar proportions:

Unfortunately I saw the car inside the gates of the Volvo factory which means that taking picture is a big NO NO.
