I have a small question for you guys while we're on the subject, but are all smart cars as well as the A-class, all FWD???
They put a W204 based SC successor development on ice a while ago. But now they realised it would be OK to still have a SC in the model line - since it is a true small RWD MB.

Development of W204 based SC would take too much time - a few years at least. And there would be a gap in the model line for quite a time. So, now the will only completely reskin the current W203 based SC and offer it as a new SportCoupe. This also means no goodies from new W204 C-class (Commnd III, pre-safe, 4-matic, driving asstance systems etc).

Yes, smart, A-class & B-class are FWD!
