![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | BMW 750i X-Drive? Will it ever be produced? For me to own an everyday car for my commute i need an AWD car. Love the A8, pretty much my favorite sedan, but i would like the sportiness of the 7 series but with AWD. Why hasn't BMW produced one yet? All the other big German car manufacturers have done so. Where is the hold up or are they simply not interested in producing an AWD version in the 7'er? Anyone have any insight on this? I would love to own such a car, to have all the BMW imenities and sportiness and style but in AWD! Anyone with me on this? |

E65 platform was not designed to incorporate xDrive, while all new BMW platforms are designed with ability to feature xDrive. Expect most future BMW to have an xDrive option (except roadsters & ultra-performance cars).

Just the man i wanted to hear from... So basically in the '09 model it will be available... Good, im glad, i seriously feel they should have had this available already but nontheless its never too late. Wonder what the plan are for such a system. Especially for a sport model. Suspension and control of the wheels, and everything inbetween will certainly play key features, to further developing such a system in a bigger wider more powerful car.
