| some good responses in this thread. BMW can come up with all sorts of reasons for not making an M7 yet still make one in a few years. JM's sig sums it up perfectly (M for Marketing).

| It's not the previously existed "M-philosophy" that is preventing them from making an M7. After Richter was moved to the GT project, it has been all about profit at BMW M. They have seriously considered the M7 but as it wouldn't sell in large numbers (even less than X5/X6 M) and make much profit to cover the developing costs, they have abandoned it (for now at least). |
