Actually, from an interview that I read, the next 7er will start a new trend. What he means is that the current 7er started the design direction which carried all the way over to the E90. The next one is supposed to be a new direction... supposedly.

That Huckfelsdt's CGI is a pure speculation. The car is PSed current 7er with elements of 3er (front) and 5er (profile and back).

Btw, Huckfeldt's initial PS are often wrong. Look at this picture of E90 3er he published in AutoBild few years ago:

What a lame chop, the chop is based on Fiskers car for you who haven't noticed.

The PS is almost the same with the current model!

^^^^ Well, the basic design elements in those 3-series renders aren't far off, really.

C'mon, Klier. Look at the differences between 1st & 2nd Huckfeldt's impression & the final product. Differences are quite huge. So will be the ones between 1st Hucfeldt's impression of 7er and the real car.
