These pics are from "The days of 7er" event on Miramas BMW private track (France) - where BMW presented the new car & its technical highlights to the selected journalists. Just like they did with X6 & Dynamic xDrive (xDrive + DPC) few months ago. Kind a pre-first-drive event. Of course journalists / editors were only passangers in the vehicles, not driving them. | |

| Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series Looking to the last pics klier and EnI have posted, i am starting to think that the front of the car, the part that reminds E65 FL will be replaced in a future FL F01 by a new one closer to the production CS model, or F10. The front will bore us in a few years, while the rest of the car will still fresh and new. |

| Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series I'm going to repeat my claim again: F01 / F02 7er is the most formidable & sovereign vehicle BMW have ever made. No BMW car ever has had such a presence as F01 / F02 does. The car is simply fluent, sporty & elegant. Modern & beautiful (or better coherent). Definitely has the biggest WOW! effect in this segment. It combines best from both worlds: sporty & luxurious. Aggressive & elegant. Modern & cohesive. Elements from E32 / E38 & FL E65. IMO this will be far most successful 7er ever. Image & sales wise. It will bring back the traditional BMW buyers who went to Lexus, MB or Audi, and I'm sure it will retain the current E65/66 drivers. **** Another impression from the Miramas drive presentation: very comfortable in the Comfort mode. Very LS / S-class like. And very sporty & agile in the Sport Plus mode - on par with S8 & Quattroporte. |
