The ribbed rearlights in the old S-class and the ribbed rearlights look-alike on the new BMW 7er when the lights are switched on.
Say I'm crazy!

Anyway, the new BMW 7er looks great so far. Can't wait to see one in flesh.
Well, I suppose I wasn't being serious in the beginning but now that I think about it it does use a lot of design ques from current Mercs and ones from the past too with some Lexus thrown in there too. However, the design of the F01 will not stand the test of time like those old Mercs did.

Well, it certainly won't with that attitude

I fail to see any resemblance. Apart from ribbed horizontal designs that are unavoidable. Talk about nit-picking....

Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

Like I expressed since the very first shots were leaked the rear end is perfectly gorgeous and overshadows the rather weak and comic looking front end.

Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

I think the front bumper is to weak. I love the design of the headlights - looks like a flame. The big kidneys are very aggresive and powerful. The bumper is weak. Hopefully, an M Pack or Aero pack comes along to fix this minor design flaw. Other then that, this car is great. It is the best in class for me at the moment...

Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

No, i think it looks better without the symbol, those exhaust are really big, i wonder how the V12 exhaust would look like, maybe like the M5/M6 ?

The exhaust pipes will be near identical to the those seen on the blue car except that they will have a divider down the middle giving the imitation of quad pipes.

You can say the same about the new S-class, or?
