The handle to close the door is hidden behind the wood -decor strip:

You close the door simply by "pulling the wood".
Check the gap behind the wood-trim. So its a somewhat hidden handle well integrated into the design.

-that was a few secs too late...

It looks even better, if you compare to the E66, because the F01 has grown and is as big as the previous long-version :

Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

So the new I6 TT (N54) now makes 326 HP (circa 243 kW) in the 7er - or have I missed something earlier? Talk about tune-ability. What's the torque figure EnI and can we expect to see these power hikes in lesser BMW's?

3.0 I6 N54: 326 hp, 450 Nm; 1500 rpm to 4500 rpm (5.9 sec to 100km/h) ----> as fast as the E65 750i

4.4 V8 TT: 407 hp, 600 Nm; 1750 rpm to 4500 rpm (5.2 sec to 100km/h)

btw, BMW 650i coupe is fastest non M version BMW with 5.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h

Lower weight than E65 / E66, better weight distribution (lower car, alu roof = lower center of gravity), more responsive engines with more torque, faster & more responsive gearbox, new sportier suspension incl. front double-wishbone, enhanced dynamic damper control & anti-roll stabilization, integral active steering incl. rear-wheel steering, better run-flat tires, sportier DSC mode etc.

Anybody still doubts this car ROCKS in driving dynamics department? No need to say ride comfort has been significantly improved as well (sure LS & S-class are still better).

I really hope Audi will be able to answer with the new A8. It will be really interesting to watch.

Yes, it's a tuned-up N54. 326HP (240kW) & 450Nm.

So, power is increased by 20HP (+6.5%) & torque is increased by 50Nm (+12.5%).

And that's only upgrade stage 2. Out of 4.

PS: this baby can be tuned up to 275kW production version!!! Theoretically even more but not for production (reliabilities issues). Yet BMW are working on Valvetronic ver2 which will be compatible with HPI direct injection. This upgrade will add some more torque & power to the N54. So, I guess this engine platform will be able to output some 400HP in the end (if needed).
