You can see how important the wheels are, the "shoes" of a car... I was hesitating - now I know: I like it! Thatīs the way it should be. And thatīs the way my 7 will look like - somewhen in November... Best regards, Swingfan | |

My initial reaction: *** is that !? ![]() After such a promising teaser shot during the golf tournament, I utterly was shocked and massively disappointed. After some time mulling over pictures: After the initial shock I started to look at some of the positive aspects of the car. The front is not bad, but not as promising as the teaser indicated. The head lights are great but they don’t seem to fit all that well with the design. The skirt could have been a little sportier. The profile is good, seems a little sleeker then the current version. The interior looks fantastic, virtually perfect. If only it was in a different shell. Now what makes this car appear like a monstrosity, are the rear lights. *** is BMW thinking. Not only are the shaped like crap, they appear way too large (kinda like the Lincoln Zephyr, only ten times worse). The rear looks like an amateur design made by low-end tuner shop. To me the rear is completely repulsive and totally unacceptable. As mush as I defended the E65/66, I don’t think I ca do so anymore. At this point, of the rear is an indication of future BMW, I think I’ve just purchased my last one! Perhaps salvation will come once I see it on the metal , but until then, that rear (at least in pictures) makes this design look like sh!t.
