| taillights late to this party, but I finally saw one in person and had to comment on the taillights: 1. they are not symmetrical 2. not only are they not symmetrical, but the lights on the trunk don't align with the ones on the sides. I've read a bunch of comments about how "Asian" or "Lexus" looking the taillights are, but at least on the LS460 the tailights are aligned. this misalignment throws the whole thing off for me. I like the overall design of the new 7. It's an attractive car, but the taillights just ruin it for me. I'm planning on buying a new 5 next year but if they put the same taillights on dammit I'll have to go buy an Audi or Mercedes. For my money the best looking BMWs are still the E39s. |

| ^  What do you mean with tail lights being asymmetrical, and not being aligned? The fact that the part on a boot lid is smaller than the bigger part of the lights on the flanks? The L-shape bothers you? |

| Here is an interesting initiative the guys from BMW blog took, basicly they asked the readers what they would change in the car and then ask their ps guy to fulfill those wishes.   Be A Designer: Here is the BMW 7 Series designed by you

| ^^ That front is definitely better than the battering ram it has right now, the rest I'd keep the same as the real car because that back looks too soft. M
