Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

Those wheels are just great! They suit the car very well. And as VroomVroom pointed out, the kidneys really do become smaller because of those massive rims

The 21's look good but can someone PLEASE design a better front bumper! It makes the car look soooo bland!

I believe the user's manual is fully in electronic form in the iDrive system so I'm very doubtful you will find it anywhere.

Yeah, I've tried it out. Not only is written down everything you want to know, there is spoken info too, and a million videos showing how everything works. It's absolutely brilliant and flawless. The screen resolution is insane, the screen itself gigantic and it operates very fast and logical.
However, I believe there still is a user manual on paper like the regular Bimmers, for if you want to take a look at home for example. Maybe there is a PDF somewhere, but I haven't seen one yet anywhere.

Re: Official: The New BMW 7 Series

FINALLY i went to the Dealership to see the new 7er..

I took 30 mins to examine it Inside out..

Here are my impressions:

Front: Wierd.. the nose is to big and the lights are to sleek.. they should have made up their mind.. larger lights would be more fitting.. or a smaller nose.. your pick..
But with that said..i must admit that the S class front isnt that spectacular either ( non AMG) so its all good.. its not a big issue..

Rear: This HAS to be the best rear ive seen in AGES...its amazing.. the car can't hide its size.. and i dont think it should.. from the rear it looks MASSIVE.. like the W140..
I even turned the lights on.. and i couldnt stop looking at those rear lights..i want one as a night lamp in my room..
10 out of 5 for the rear.. its SMASHING...

Interior: I must say to all haters.. forget all your talk about bad quality..this car is crazy inside.. every button and material is top notch.. The i-drive controller IS NOT the same as in other bimmers.. its made of some wierd glass like tinted material..
Just amazing..
The funny thing about the interior is ..that it feels very personal and cramped almost, for a car this size..
And i like that.. thats BMW, true to the Heritage..its very sporty..
This is not BMW´s S class..this is luxury BMW style.. just the way it should be..
Thats why i like cars like the C63..its immensly greater than the C55 but its still AMG and still MB..
Its not a wannabe M3..
So MAJOR kudos for the interior..

Ohh and the door handles on the inside..are so clever..the wood panels on the doors arch to make a handle.. SUPERB

All in all:
I give it 7/10.. the front is just to dull.. other than that.. AMAZING.. one of my fav bimmers ever..
I hope they do like MB and give it some kind of package..to aid the front..
