Just put some better looking bumper and the car is complete winner.

Its the pedestrian safety regs I blame for the blunt front end. Must be a nightmare trying to design around such parameters.

That's true. Nightmare for designers and nightmare for us.

It's not blunt. It's fantastic. Best front in the segment too, but you guys can't admid that because that would not look good for your beloved S-class, the second place car from now on.

Well of course I'd disagree with that, but not for the reasons you state. It just isn't anwhere near as elegant as the S-Class' front end. The 7's rear is better though, cleaner and more cohesive than the S-Class' IMO. The front however reminds me of a Dodge Magnum way too much. Too flat, too broad and too blunt.

Everybody is entitled to his own opinion, and I must say the the front of the S class is indeed by far the best looking part of that car, but that's only because the rest aint as pretty. With the BMW, everything is (imo )

Yep, but only after you attempted to tell me something different with the whole us vs. them slant, totally unecessary. You're right everyone is entitled to their opinion, sorry if it doesn't fit your idea of what can be posted in this thread.

Yes, the size and shape is exactly the same. What is different is the vertical slats and the thickness of the 'chrome ring' inside the grille.
