Is the actual width of the 2 grills same? Sorry if it has been asked before.
I guess the one with ED has 13 slats and the other(below and the 7 at Bangle's house) has 9 slats.

I find that quite cheezy actually. Yes BMW, thank you, but we already knew it was a 7-series to begin with. We don't need neon lights screaming it at us.

I find it to be a cool thing. It's the little changes that makes things special.

I spotted a Nissan 350Z with a similar thing but instead of number 7 it was formed like a Z.

The attention to detail in BMW is endless ... for example ... the numbered buttons in the Hi Fi system (which used to be for storing Radio stations) are also used to store a favorite song from a specific DVD .. this was an amazing feature. Not only that, you can just put your finger on the button itself (without pressing) and it will sense your finger and will display on the screen the favorite song title stored in that specific button


Example ... If you see the group of buttons numbered from 1 to 8 in the below picture .. while you are listening to a DVD or CD .. just hold press one of those numbers (example number 2) and it will store the location of that song on that specific button .. now when you want to listen to that specific song while listening to another DVD ... just press number 2 and it will take you directly to that song ... this is the kind of small details that make you really appreciate the effort spent behind these cars ..
