Alpina already have the supercharged version of this engine in the B7.
Let us not forget that the B7 uses the same 4.4 litre V8 base engine. The difference is that Alpina decided to use superchargers whilst BMW turbocharged the engine.


Something I noticed that has not been mention thus far- will there be a TT 4.8 litre V8?
What will BMW use to power the 760i?

The supercharged version is already delivering about 523 BHP in the B5 and B6. Note that the same engine is slightly down-tuned to 500 HP in the B7.
