B&O stands for Bang&Olufsen, a Danish audio/video manufacturers. It's well-known for its design, less for its sound. Speakers, amplifiers, CD-players, TVs.

The actual Audi A8 has an optional B&0 sound system, spectacular and it seems of an excellent sound quality.

Bang&Olufsen is overpriced, its not better then anything else. You mostly pay for the brand and design, not becuase you want the best.

B&O is mostly about design. For a comparable price, you can get something technically waay better from other (often less well-known) brands. But a B&O product usually looks beautiful and unique.

Concerning the A8, it seems a very good option though, better than HK's logic7, but not fancy and trendy: no Dolby or Home-Cinema effect like HK, but with a better stereo sound for music.

Come on guys, that is an illustration of what the system does, nothing else.
