So far these spy pictures have been a Very Big letdown for me.

As with most new German cars recently I think you have to wait until the official pics or better yet, real-life pics to really determine how the car looks. No amount of manipulation of spy pics will give you the real thing IMO. This car can't look any worse than the current one.

I think you'll like the final product

People that have seen it, have only said amazing things about it.

Someone that worked directly on the project mentioned that if before they,BNW, were a little behind the S-Class, now the new 7 will be way ahead.
