How many recent MB models were terrible in camo, only to be stunning when revelead. This new 7 looks like its going back to the 1995-2001 7-Series, and I loved that car. I've never seen such wierd camo though. I'm still not convinced that this what we're seeing now is the same as this: ![]() Which was shown a while back. Then again it may just be the lighting, angle etc. M

![]() ![]() | Re: F01 / F01 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!) The car has a good stance from the rear 3 quarters, especially due to the sharp side crease.other than that it's nothing spectacular.Need better pictures for the final judgement.

It's not very exciting to look at, but a little piece of camo can change the whole perception of the car. We can see that it looks like a mix of e65 and e38 (hope it will reveal to be more e38) with Concept CS cues, but to decide if it's looking good or not is a bit early. We don't see the rear, what makes impossible to see the shoulder line, we can't really see the details of the front only the grille, not even the headlights... So we only see big bits of car without the real relations between these bits, so I think it's too early to judge. It's already way better than the e65 (which is honestly not hard at all imo). It however looks a bit plain, a bit rigid in these pics.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!) I`ve edited these photos to bring them closer. (this F01 looks like a LWB model) I don`t know what some of you are complaining about. This car is very handsome and possesses some classic themes like the long flat hood. It doesn`t rake down as sharply as the current one. The profile is coupe like as the roof archs down with a subtle touch, and the shoulder line just sets it off beautifully! The overhanges are a bit shorter. this new 7er is clearly aimed at younger buyers... it`s much more youthful looking. You guys shouldn`t expect the 7er to get the radicle design Qs from the concept. This is BMWs excutive express... it`s subtle, classy and elegant. Just the way it should be. So far, it gets my vote in a big way.. this might be the best 7er yet! ![]() ![]()

We can't see the big hood or the rear, it's not like a big black thing that lets you see the shape, with this psych thing you can't see it at all... It clearly has a classic shape. I think it will look very good. And make everybody forget the e65 very fast.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!) The SWB 7er will be about the 5.14 meters of the S Class, the E65 is 5.04 meters, and the E66 is 5.18. What really suprise me is how good works the camo. We still can´t see the front and rear lights shape, and the shots has the wrst angle they could have to see how big is´ts the grille, this pics are really frustate. I think i will have the same shape for the front lights than the "Pace-Car", and also the grille seems to be wider, seeing the shots toke in Melbourne. The big doubts are the interior, wich i think will be so close to the X6 one, and the engines (hoping a 735i with 300-350 hp ). |
