No I like it too. And I can look through the low quality of the pic too. This interior looks pretty damn good to me, a bit A8ish even.

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!)

i wouldn't trust the PS's klier, what i have understood from now is that we should expect something similar to CS but on a lesser scale, we have a grand side profile a la flying spur, but it is sleek, the front is pointy, and seems not purely aggressive, rather subtly powerful, the rear is a big mystery, i guess the PS's are on the right track but the porblem is that with the shape they are conveying, it is very hard to mess it since a slight miss of proportion in the circular area versus the L section makes the shape look really ugly
the second problem is expectation, we expected the CS to be a production concept, rather it is a 7er with production CS elements, thus as a result we had a higher expectation that what was not to be delivered anyway

plus it is not a secret that with every model that passes, the "design" is not less radical, but the curve interplay and the clever elements are becoming more "regular".

i have not lost hope, i think BMW are playing us quite nicely, they are showing just enough so that we have a lot to talk about, but hiding the critical elements and pushing the debate even further, i would also not be surprised if the PS's have been "leaked" by BMW to create even more debate

i am waiting to see the final product

You're probably right about the photoshops. When the time comes that we can put the final car next to these photoshops, we will say "aaah, I see what they meant with these ugly Photoshops": they will look like eachother but are very different too.

the interior looks alrite, and like i said before when the blurred picture came out, it resembles the a8. i can't want to see the instrument cluster tho, must be very innovative.

The interior doesn't look bad to me with the right trim it could look quite nice. However, the I-drive controller seems to be in a really retarded spot...As if they were trying to give more control to the passenger.

an instrument cluster can only evolve so far, i think currecntly the S class presents the most innovative, not necessarily the best though, the mechanical engineer in me prefers a needle over the LCD screen
you can expect an interesting design, a nice layout, integrated nav, mutlifunctional LCD's but the highest interplay would be on design

No, there is no reason to ps these photos. I highly believe this is the real deal. If you guys don`t think BMW took shortcuts in the design work compare to the current 7er look for yourselves.
The materials also look cheaper. Aside from that the glovebox in other pic is misplace, a very bad fit.

It really does look like it could fit a 3-Series compared to the current one.
Man alive!!
