that interior is pretty damn ugly, if thats the real deal, thats a half assed effort by BMW, ewww

hints of X6, but come on, its supposed to be the compnays flagship and this is supposed to reprsent this, if the real deal is anywhere like this i won't be happy

Wow It's not awful but it's not the best..but in a BMW of this type the interior should be the best and this don't cut it

P.s look at the clocks..either there fake or this in going to be one seriously fast car

Merc fans should know how much better an interior could turn in proper photos.

Good Lord, I happen to agree! seems the I-Drive screen has been lowered
into the dash and is smaller. The alu-trim is all but gone around the air vents(which was a 7er trademark.)
It almost reminds me of the S-Class with the mass of the center stack but there is a lot missing from that upper class excutive feel. It`s just ugly. The placement of the I-Drive knob beside the shifter is a pure design mistake with no place to rest your wrist.

I`m sorry but design wise this has absolutly nothing on the S-Class from what I`m seeing so far. The design seems a bit downgraded from the current 7er.

Folks I might be wrong but there are a lot of shortcut here.
This kind of design work comes from cost cutting, That disease that plagued Mercedes Benz in the earily 21st century (which is gone now) might be knocking on BMWs door with the new 7er.

Pray that I`m wrong.

the interior pic seems real, but it also looks like an early prototype, surely not a final car
the idrive GUI looks "pasted" on, like some piece of cardboard, it seems maybe like apicture of one of those clay models with the trim placed on

I for one don't find the interior to be that bad. It's neither good nor terrible, acceptable. But i hope the final deal looks a bit more exciting. That's not a very high end looking interior.

Am I the only one who likes the interior? Even in that terrible photo it looks pretty good to me.

That makes it two of us. In beige leather the glossy section and wood will come out really nice.

Most likely something like this, yes.

I am worried though, since I don't like what I am seeing all the time. Every single PS looks BAD
