i think it will look great. i am more worried about the interior, it seems like i am not too fond of bmw interiors of late except for the x5/x6.

Tail lights will remain typical L-shape.

CS design influence: mind that CS was a concept. A bit exaggerated features. But ... "new 8er" is coming ... With strong CS influence, and more dynamic & daring styling than 7er. Luxury sedan vs luxury GT / coupe. There has to be difference. And it will be.
Yeah but i think the final 8er will be a 2 dr coupe, if doesnı i think it will be a mistake to create a car over the 7er, less prestige on 7er.

Respect the tail lights, thay seem to be an L like the X5, and X6, and the E 46, not an L like the current E65 FL or the 3er coupe, isn´t it?.

Regards.

Look at this forum, go down to the "Pace car", the front seems very similar to FEP:

"New 8er" will be a 4-door GT, and will be BMW's new flagship. But it will be very different car than the 7er. Much more sporty-performance oriented. 7er = sporty luxury, 8er = luxurious sportiness. Different purpose, different buyers. Will it make the 7er inferior? Sure it will. That's all the point of introducing the new flagship. The new 8er will be the missing link between BMW & RR after all .

I said "L-shape".

"Pace-car" ... proportions are somewhat not right yet some cues are very good ... Yet the whole impression (appearence) looks much more like F10 5er - the sportiness. But let's finally admit it's close.

I think i understand now waht it will be the 8er, ultra expensive 4 door GT much more expensiva than the 7er and closer to RR than 7er.

YoUhimhER, i think the interior will be like the X5/X6 one, with the new iDrive, and the steering wheel close to the 6er/M5.

I would wait for the media presentation. It will part your fears once you see it in it's full elegance and at it's most dynamic.

Actually , I guarantee it...

I like the sleek roof line, but not so sure about the front - but will reserve my judgment till the camo comes off.

I'm concerned the car sits too high off the ground. Look at the wheel arches and notice the big gap between the edge of the tyre and the edge of the wheel arch- it's too big. E65 didn't have this problem.

The car looks a little bulky... I don't know why but I was expecting something a litlle more sleek, coupe-ish perharps!

Then again, it's still very early.

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!)

hi i no its not easy to judge the car from the camo and i wont give a final judgement from the pics we have seen till the official

ok eni is the real car near to hucks pics on page 2

if it is then i will be dissapointed.if its more cs then great

i own a s class and remember the 7 is going to be launched like 4years after the s so it has to be much better in terms off looks and technologies and stuff in my opinion

to me from the spy it looks very close to hucks pics

i hope its not

lets see .............

regarding the 8er u say it will be between a 7 and the rolls but arent rolls taking out a smaller car .or will their be a smaller rolls and a 8er thast going to be a lot off cars for the rich........
