Well, I think the 6-series is beautiful... and I have high hopes for the 7-series.

Who still does not turn their heads when they see a Z4 or the ultra modern 6er Coupe Which is nothing but beautiful.
The prefacelifted model looks terrible today, I'm sorry to say. It looks far more dated than the previous A8 or S classes. The 6 sereis looks quite dated as well and the Z4 never really looked that good to begin with. I am looking forward to this 7 sereis and think it will look pretty good. I also very much appreciate your insight, but to call the current crop of BMW's that are at the end of their life-cycle looking great, is not entirely true, in my opinion.

6-series looks dated???!!! You must be joking.

Have you ever seen the car IRL????

Even the pre-FL still looks like sent from Mars, FL version even more.

The car looks very futuristic. Can you name the production car in premium segment that looks more futuristic than 6-series does. I doubt there's any.

Same goes for Z4 - more for coupe than roadster though.

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!)

i think the 6er i splain ugly back and front.

as for the curent 7 the facelifted is ok the prefaelift is crap

from the current chop or should i say the latest one they seem to be messing the new 7er up big time

atleast the x5.x6 are vary nice looking cars

i think bmw have gone soft in design terms they should have used much more off the cs in the 7er i actually hope they have and its not like that latest chop...heres hoping

I see at least one 6 series everyday on the road here in Miami, including M6's... The M6 looks better, but yes the 6 series looks dated, especially from the front. The car looks sad from the front and the rear looks like the tail of a whale. I have always said it looks like a beached whale. Regardless, I think that design has aged very quickly.

Is this getting 'warmer' , hot or colder ?

I think the headlights need some serious eyebrowing..The 'wide opened eye' look (same as 1er) does not work well.

Here it looks almost like E60 headlights..Which imho is not a bad thing. Actually, for me the E60 headlights are the best design in the whole BMW lineup. The lines flow perfectly into the car body, the right mixture between aggressive and elegant.

I am reposting this in hope for a hint from Eni and/or Scotty, because I think this is getting pretty close (headlight- wise) :

Characterline goes all the way to the front. headlights have CS type eyebrows seperated from main lights by the continuation of the character line. If the inner and outer end of the lightcluster end pointy (like shown) or more rounded is another question. Anyway...relatively small details like this can completely change the face of a car..so I am still very confident that the other PS's are wrong (and mine is closer obviously ;-) )

Probably Scott did not reply the first time because he did not want to admit that THIS IS IT And to be honest..its his job to keep us guessing
