Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!)

Guys, we have 3 full months till press release.

Let's go step by step.

I hope we will reveal all the major "secrets" till then.

It won't be funny & exciting to tell all the dirty secrets & details at once, don't you think?

The claim that "F01 will make W221 look like DOS (vs Windows)" is still on.

Btw. in this picture you can see the character line continuing in all its glory (without diminishing like in the X6) into the rear lights ... I expect this to be similar on the F01

Uhm...so what is so similar on X5, X6, 5er and 6er that is not present on E92?
Very weird this.

Well it also should look like Heidi Klum naked on the beach...

Okay, the 7er is not naked so far. But it's in bikini, right, and Heidi Klum looks way better than that in bikini...

And...I just hope it won't be a Win95, because then I prefer DOS...

It's impossible that the BMW will be Windows, and the W221 is DOS.
That's all marketing small talk because it is quite simply impossible for a difference to be this big between those two marques.

In terms of interior and exterior stying though, the Windows and DOS part will probably work though. F01 will look much much better

4-wheel steering huh? Interesting. I don't see BMW going for that. The Japanese have been playing around with it for years, Infiniti still has it on certain models now. It seems like a novel idea, but the buying public has never cared about it enough to make it one of those item in which one carmaker does it and the rest follow. BMW's chassis pretty much already define handling/dynamics I don't see the need for BMW to do 4WS IMO especially on a 7-Series.

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info Part IV (first FEP pics incl.!!!)

What I have in my possession is the "book" otherwise known as the first mock up of the media campaign which will incorporate press launch to the dealer brochure and of course the media film and interactive presentation from our Media and Art department it is here that when I am in Town receive the book , approve the shots , layout etc but add my own comments in note format ( In which I can get extra detailed if I am not satisfied) Who in turn I take to my superiors in which we discuss and exchange our thoughts and ideas at the table then I take back and ask for changes and so back and forth until a conclusion.

As of you wanting to know the contents of this book I am sorry but I am sworn to secrecy , This is the 7er BMW's technological flagship and the competition will be itching to see what it brings to the table.
Of course with the 7er deadline almost approaching everything appears to be on schedule then whilst I am working on this I explore my creativity to work on ideas for the Z4 (blue skies, clear blue seas) In which I continue to do so whereas in the office , home or on location across the world. I even work on planes so you never know you could one day sit aside me in Business class whilst I work on a project. But (Incoming Joke!) become to curious and I wont even think twice of jabbing you with a plastic fork.

The CS has the same design feature...and it does not look Opel-ish to me.
Btw. in this picture you can see the character line continuing in all its glory (without diminishing like in the X6) into the rear lights ... I expect this to be similar on the F01

Look at this rear and imagine the lights a little larger and the rear end shown here more"upright " than raked for the CS.
