I was driving down Calabasas road last night to run by Hollywood video and scoop a DVD or two and guess what I saw in the opposite lane of traffic at almost 10pm!? An F02 (long wheelbase 7)!!!! It had all the camo we've seen in the very first pictures of the car, but you definitely get a sense for proportions with the low roofline and wheels pushed out at all 4 corners not to mention it's pretty wide. I was driving kinda slow as it was the end of a long day, so I was able to make out exactly what I was looking at, and as I drove past I turned my head to see it drive off. Not the smartest thing to do when you're driving, but this is a BMW prototype for crying out loud!!!

the difference in grill shape i think is either because of camo, or because of many time explicit hints of stylistic difference between F01 and F02, where one would focus on sporty and the other on luxury

Look at that hood and front part of the car, it's so tall and strong, almost like a RR Phantom, and those lights are arrow like, so sexy and serious at the same time, whit those huge nose grills for sucking up the pedestrians on it's way ... Just pay attention how pathetic 5er touring in the background looks like comparing to this monster.

I seriously hate those oversized kidneys!

Yeah there slightly big, but they don't have the chrome strip around them yet, so when they do they will look smaller So don't worry to much YET.

Although I dont like the look of the grille just now (they are big), I'm sure it will be one of things that just look 'right' on BMWs, like so many other things in their controversial designs. Looking not to shabby so far though.

That´s not correct, the chrome strip will make them bigger.

judging from the that shot, it looks mighty, but not pretty. looks almost like a suv.
