as you can see the profile has similar styling ques
The belt lines which you have lined out in green aren't identical. On the new 7er it stretches across the entire side while on the CS concept it only reaches from the front wheel to the middle of the rear door. Overall the side is a blend of the X6 and CS Concept.

The CS concept showcased the philosphy of the entire new lineup, so that's normal to say the 7er is inspired by both cs and X6 (and inspired dosn't mean identical).

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info - Part III (FEP pics!)

great find you guys. And with that said, the CS as proven with those pics, will indeed be longer. I drove behind a maybach yesterday for the first time. I've seen them pass me by, but never drove behind one for a good amount of time. That thing i tall and wide. The CS, i assume, is to be something similar, but mroe sportier. So think of a wider quadroporte bmw maybach s550 car lol.. well.. it's going to be a BMW, and it's going to crush the competition in it's class like BMW knows how to.

i think not since the 70's S-class has there been a car ready to redefine the upper executive segment like the F01 is poised to do

Re: F01 / F02 BMW 7er - Spy Pics & Info - Part III (FEP pics!)

maybe its too much speculation, but could it be possible that we are going to have the same situation with the 7series and the 8series, as we have with the X5 and the X6 ? i mean, hardware sharing[similar platform, similar design]. it saves money, since the 8series[CS Concept] is also only a niche vehicle

OMG! It's dropdead goregous. So sleek and cool... and we haven't even seen it in its full glory yet.

Perhaps it's vice versa.

In Z9 GT Concept vs E65 7er case it was so. Z9 was inspired by E65 design - the 7er design was already chosen, and Adrian van Hooydonk got the extra opportunity: to design a Concept car that will show an upcoming design of new BMW models, and showcase GT coupe by BMW: the Z9 GT Concept.
6er design was not chosen yet at that time, but AVH derived the 6er design from his Z9 concept and won the internal competition.

So, it is very possible CS has F01 7er inspired rear lights - and other features as well.

Same relationship as Z9 GT Concept vs E65 7er vs E63 6er ( = Concept CS vs F01 7er vs F?? 8er).

Did scott not hint that the car would be leaked in Sydney?

Yes that is correct I am going to give you our precise location so we can get disturbed!!! Or maybe you have a deathwish?

No when I work on these media shoots I do not look forward to constant interruptions by snap happy enthusiasts, By nature I am a perfectionist and I balance my time perfectly . Everything you see here is a jigsaw all pieces that do not form anything till the presentation is edited , sound mixed and with music and visuals. All each segment is the car travelling a few miles down the road either followed by a helicopter or camera car .Then we stop and move further down the road and repeat the same thing but on a corner. Visually the 7er will follow the X6 campaign - A beautiful balance of creativity and stunning environments from across the world , showcasing this beautiful car. There are some fantastic ideas visually on how this is going to play out , But you will just have to wait for the finished outcome .

One more thing over the past year no one has completely answered or asked the question which has surprised both me and Eni.

"The Concept CS is basically the Coupe version of the 7er but shrunk down to look more dynamic with performance intentions and proportions.
Blow up the car by inflating several details and you get the 7er with just minor details such as light shapes being larger."
