There was an M 745i back in the day, so I think that speaks enough for the push of a future M7.

^^It was the 740 sport package, with basically wheel upgrades and M gauges. It was not an M7. I really dont think an M7 is a good idea for a couple of reasons. First of all its too heavy, seocondly it just doesnt make sence. There is not enough of a market for an M7 to justify building one. Plus, look at the XJR, that car is rediculous and that is exactly what an M7 would be like.

What do you have to say about the S8 and S63AMG? They are heavy as well...

They shouldn't make an M7 for the same reason they don't make an M version of the X5 or X3.

Do those cars do well in sales? Maybe your right, maybe there is a niche for high powered luxury sedans. But when BMW makes an M car the car is more about handling then it is about power so that being said its against the M policy to make an M7, dont you think?

Well AMG doesn't have the same philosophy as RS and M where they focus on track performance and sport.

Very true... that's why they should make it an "is" version instead. Just like the X5.

AMG is definetly more like a GT car...no doubt about that.

AMG = Higher performace luxury cars.

M3 and RS = Very sport orientated luxury cars.
