I also stopped by the dealer today to see the new GL for the first time and the new S-class up close. Have seen a few S550's on the road and I think it looks good in motion, esp in black. Well, the dealer had no S550's in stock and said they are sold out for a while. They have a black GL. I thought it was okay, but I expected the interior to be roomier inside. It seems too narrow from the outside and inside too. It doesn't seem to offer much over the ML. It seems my brothers ML with the 3rd row seating had about the same amount of volume in the back.
