I only have the roof up if its cold and raining but then I dont care if its ugly or not. Its obvious you're not one of the clients | | | | | Devotee

The CLK droptop is way better and sexier IMO. | | | | | Connoisseur

Here's my two cents regarding a convertible;
If the weather is right and you live in that type of climate and dont really work and just cruise around all the time, than surely you drive most of the time with the top down, if you dress up for work, keeping the top down while warm or hot will make you sweat especially in traffic. AC is a must, my reasoning for not getting a convertible too boot. Though i like them ('verts), their not practical for all. As for the way the rear of the top looks its not the best, but looks fine overall. Its just a sexy car. Could they improve ont eh rear of the top, yes and the should, but there must be some reasoning for the way they designed it that way.
It has a very retro look, imo. | | | | | Me for President

I get spoiled by A/C to easily, so the scent of heat, i will turn it up right away. My fiance likes the convertible idea, but also doesnt like to start to feel hot/sweaty. So the 'vert is for a certain style of person, being dressed and sweaty is not pleasant to get to work with.
I like the coupe, but i preffer the 'vert for a non-daily driver. Just for those fall evenings that are crisp and cool in the 60's or better, that's when i usually take the top down on a 'vert.
I just like to have that option. | | | | | Connoisseur
