Another M6 bites the dust - 08-05-2006, 11:32 AM

From what I heard both the driver and the passenger are ok.
Aparently the driver drove too fast out of a corner (last two days were very wet) and hit a tree. The impact made the car to spin and hit the curb with the rear right wheel which was torn off. The car then hit another tree with the drivers doors and ended up in the middle of the road.

Must have been coming out strong to cause such damage. I dont know why people think its safe to drive crazy in the rain. Its as if everyone feels its track day on the streets in the rain. Especially with torquey cars, why even take such a chance.

That's why BMW should restrict top to 50 KM/H instead of 250.

Wow, how incredibly sad... what an idiot. I'm sure he/she has more than enough money to replace it!!! Now we get to create a tombstone for this slained beast.

I dont speed in the cities and I dont speed in the winter or when the roads are wet. Only when its dry. I know accidents happens when its dry but at least it eliminate the chances to crash.

BTW had my licences for 12 years, so far Im not responsible of a crash nor have I crashed a car.

I don't know if you got mad, but I didn't mean anything in the bad way. I just know you like to speed. I know you are safe. It's the other around you that I worry

By the way, I wonder how M division engineers feel when they see something like this.
