And £65k for the M5 = ~117 000 U$D.

And before you start with the Z06, it costs between 120 000 and 200 000 U$D across Europe.

Again, im just confused, is that pretty much what you posted?
I'm with you on this one Alex. The whole post is quite confusing.

Steve Sutcliffe is known for favoring BMW and not Porsche.

ok we have 997TT fan and Future Gallardo owner. Your favorite car lost therefore you cant see the meaning of this post
Over at M5board.com, everyone know the meaning of the post. Go figure!

ALex and Luw, it was a comparison and Autocar declared the M6 as a winner. The reason "why" is stated in my first post For you who dont get it, M6 isnt the sportiest one but its the best car to live with day after day and its a bargain compared to the rest. How hard can it be to understand that.

But relax guys, carjournalsits are people like us, with opinions. In this case M6 won a comparison but it doesnt mean everyone think M6 is the best car. In the eyes of Luw 997TT is the best car but not in the eyes of Autocar...

No no I don't think that the 977 is the best car in the group but I just the dudes opinion to be very biased and very stupid. I just can't understans how he can be a Porsche with just an opinion.
Yes the M6 has a very powerful engine which makes it able to keep up with the other uber sports cars at high speeds and that's all.
He seem to have so many B, M and W's in his head that he can't understand that the M6 is a massproduced GT unlike the cars. Sure a casio displays time just like a Rollie but an M6 doesn't sound, go around bends, is as exclusive or have the looks of an F430.

Thanks god(or me and alex comments) that you have moved the comparison to a bimmer section because is it pure BMW propaganda.

M6 mass produced as opposed F430 or 997TT ?!?
The M6, thank God looks way than the Ferrari F430.
Apart from that it's true, as BMW themselves said it that the M6 is not to be compared to Ferrari or Porsche.

Thank you for that.... I also suggest, you change the thread title, and add M6! Since M6 wasnt even mentioned in the title. That would have cleared up alot of confusion, BTW, i like the M6 alot, especially cabrio.

I dont really care who won the comparo, all im saying is that according to the title, there is no m6 in this comparo. Therefore it doesn't even belong in conversation... but hey your the messenger.... no sweat, dont ecpect you too have ANY of the answers!
