  | ^ The one thing the M6 does not need is more power. My gosh - what brutal top end delivery! It's a very very fast car as it is. The S85 is still one of the outright greatest engines ever. If only BMW put a DCT box in this Competition Edition. That would've been something special...

| This car is still very very unique designwise IMO. Only BMW I LOVE (only exterior)

other than that the SMG3 is awesome. I say its thanks to the gearbox M5 can still keep up with the newcomers in acceleration. SMG was built around the V10 and one of the reasons why the manual version took so long. Also, it would cost too much to replace SMG with the new DCT gearbox and I also think it would do more harm than good, the acceleration times would be slower. Other than the jerky automatic mode the SMG is working alright.
