... and in 2002 Clarkson returned with the show we know today.

I watched some of the older (late 80's - early 90's) episodes recently, it used to be a much more serious show (if you ever watched Trafikmagasinet you would feel right at home)... they had things like Tiff doing a 'proper' road test of a Skoda Favorit with luggage space measurements and such. Only Clarkson's tests had some sort of edge back then.
