Personally I'm an "old-world" type of guy and love is a sucker for wood. The reason I like wood is that it looks classy and gives the car a warm feeling. Though I have to say that wood can looks pretty tacky and hideous if it is fake and placed in the wrong car. A good example is the interior of the S60 which Giannis has posted. The wood is fake, looks out of place and doesn't really melt in with the rest of the interior.

If I for some reason would want a very luxury orientated car like the Phantom or Arnage to looks more sporty I would go for black wood or piano trim rather than alu trim.
