Not bad.
Door pannels are much better now. But I don't like the "joystick" that doen't fit the interior.
And I don't like this plastick pieces. They look so cheap.

I like the new 'joystick' style gea lever, think it look sophisticated. Overall, I have always disliked this 5er interior, but to be honest, I think by just tidying up a few things inside, it looks much much better. | | | | | Contributor

But i do agree with you about that plastic around the gearbox; it's the same in my car and i hate it! | | | | | Fanatic

Anyway, can anyone tell me why BMW did not integrate the steering-wheel gear-stalk into the new X5 and this facelifted 5er, using this drive-by-wire stick instead? Is it going to be a standard feature in future models, like the new 7er for example? | | | | | Me for President

The changes to the front spoiler look better on the face/lift, big yet subtle improvement. It now looks like its father the 7er. The door panels are also an improvement and look way better than the pre-face model. The 5er sedan now gets LEDs for the rear light treatments. The dash looks like an improvement, the changes are just a few added pieces that make it look busier than the out going model.
One item is terrible looking though. The shift paddles are some of the worst looking I have ever seen on a car. Thay look aquard in design and hard to reach. The M5 has the standard-5er design with a few M pieces, it also looks busier plus I don`t see any changes to the exterior. | | | | | Me for President

Sorry to break it for you, not even MB built the perfect cars. If a hardcore MB fan think so then he got serious issues
But I tell you this, when you drive a M5 you wont even think about design, you will simply enjoy the car, feeling you are in symbiosis with your M5. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | |
