How much did the E and A6 got over the 5-star rating? You should compare 5er with other cars in it's class. A6, 5 and E have all a similar kind of accident. In which car would you like to be in?

5er should be compared to A6 and E-class and since they are in the same size, not with smaller cars.
I dont care which one I sit in, I know all three are safe enough. If you crash in 200km/h you probably die anyway no mattter which car you drive.
What audi/bmw/Mb really need are seats preventing whipplash and it should be standard and nothing I have to force to pay extra for. In swedish cars that are standard.
