We never provide official scans or quotes from official documents, or be first to break the embargo.
But passing on the unofficial internal info (usually quite correct one), or reposting the leaked info is not illegal (not covered in BMW NDA documents). All BMW can do is to call me as a witness. Hehehehe ...

I'm not so sure about Scott. He is more keen on walking on the edge.

I agree with Martin on this one. They really should remove those roof rails or at least make them an option. It's not that the roof rails ruin the look, .. just without them the car looks a heck of a lot better!

But I guess if BMW don't include the roof rails as standard they'll get criticised for making a show-pony car without the real-world practicality of a wagon.

They're rare in Europe too. I've only seen one E55 AMG T (W211) and about a million E55 AMG sedans.

And the wagon version always looks so much hotter than the sedan.

Yeah, they hurried up.

More tomorrow.

It's interesting bmw.de is issuing the info & pics during the embargo set by BMW AG communication department.

Not quite synchronized action. It happened before: with 335i & 335d - when bmw.co.uk published the info few days before official press release by BMW AG was issued.

Where has notorious German precision gone?

I partly feel the same way. I have seen to many 5er tourings with M-package that this M5 touring doesn't excite me allt. But yet again better late then never.
