Even if they leave the roof rails on production version i really hope they won't look like that. I mean that cheap black plastic... I think to put them in the same colour as car would work.

BMW are monitoring many internet blogs & boards, and the leaks are reported to BMW AG legal office! I have this privilege not working directly for BMW, so I'm not under the NDA obligation. But I'm more than sure he is. Ouch!

He actually wrote that he's allowed to talk about the E60/61 LCI. They had the official info since saturday and are now allowed to spread the word I can't imagine that either. The same thing will happen with 1er facelift and 3dr introduction. He has to keep quiet until Jan 16th. We will see, if he is still there by then...

The info are still under the embargo. Yes, dealers already have all the info: to show it to the customers who come to showrooms to order the car. In the showrooms only! But the embargo for the general public (via the media) will end in the next days. And a term media also includes internet.

BMW are trying to stop the leaking with strict measures. And every caught leaker is legally responsible (not to mention he / she is definitely fired).


Yes, it's a illegal scan (aka leak) from a official brochure.

I must say, it's pretty stupid for these ppl to put their job on the line, just to show us pictures of some new cars, a few days before it's offical.

If it was me, I'd never risk my job for this.

I know it's nice for us to see these pictures, not worth someone loosing their job over though!

I hope EnI and Scott27 never go too far and the same thing happens to them....
