A LWB 5 series? Nice to see that BMW is following Audi's footsteps. You know what they say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".

Sure, Yannis. How flatterd must be Daimler & Benz (we can say Mercedes these days) now when most vehicles have 4 wheels, an engine, seats, a steering wheel & brakes. Wow!

I'm shocked how BMW market specialists didn't identify a need for a such car in advance - when starting the production of 5er in Chaina for Chinese market. Ouch!

A while back they finale realised and made engineers to develop LWB 5er - for Asian (mainly Chinese) market only.

I hope LWB 5er will weaken A6 dominance in Chinese market, since most Audis sold in China are LWB A6 - many of them!

BMW was first in a million other things so no need to get upset.

Don't get me wrong, this is a smart move by all means.

Your right. BMW is flattered by Audi all the time.

I'm not upset at all ... But try to calm you down.

You seem to be in offensive right now ... I'm looking other threds, and you are all over the place.

Yes, LWB 5er for Chinese market is a smart move, but I'm shocked it is coming so late - very smart marketing strategs would see demand for such a vehicle in advance! It should be offered with E60 5er launch in China!

It certainly doesnt appear to be very attractive....They may just want to wait for the FL before bringing this into china.
